LLC, recognized creator of the mangosteen
supplement category, held its Japan Grand
Opening on March 31 in Yokohama with an
enthusiastic crowd of nearly 2,000 independent
Japanese distributors joining in the celebration.

Japan’s Grand Opening celebration
included a reception with government officials,
XanGo founding executives and top Asian
market distributor leaders. The general
session was hosted by TV personality Thane
Camus, and featured a magic show by international
performer Rick Larsen.

Hollister announced the appointment of Eiji
Takizawa as General Manager of XanGo Japan
during the opening celebration. As GM, Takizawa
will direct the operations of XanGo’s
Tokyo office, as well as oversee all sales
and marketing efforts for XanGo’s
surging Japanese market.

has an admirable track record developing
and positioning multiple brands in Japan.
His professional capabilities and energy
will be instrumental in supporting our distributors
and translating XanGo’s brand success
in the East. We are thrilled to have someone
of Eiji’s caliber and experience to

Takizawa
comes to XanGo with nearly 30 years experience,
working for six major international corporations
in the food, nutrition, personal care and
pharmaceutical industries. He also served
as a senior director for one of the largest
network marketing companies in Japan.

space in the prestigious Akasaka section
of Tokyo that includes offices for 22 employees
as well as a studio and juice bar. The category
creator’s business development in
Tokyo reflects a commitment to the positive
